Had a cold day on the long bank at Bury Hill. I was one of three anglers. Maggot feeder produced a slow and steady number of Bream including four fair slabs and a couple of small Roach. Last wind-in with what felt like another small Roach was suddenly stopped dead then it hammered off before going slack. Mr Pike had popped in for tea. Hooklength bItten through.

Can’t complain at that this time of year well done. I’ve always fancied a session on the Iake they have that’s known for the roach, crucians and tench, maybe one day.

Yep, that's Milton lake. Cracking little three acre lake for Tench and Crucians - as well as some Perch and Roach. It's being netted shortly to remove some Zander and Carp that have found their way in there. Comes highly recommended - by me!
