I have an mp3 album I have tried to burn but all it does it burn 44kb of nothing onto the disc for each track. The cd player finds the tracks but there is no sound.

I can burn other mp3s ok, I can listen to the album on the pc.

Any ideas?

are you burning "on the fly" direct from a cd reader drive to a cd writer?

I'm not trying to burn an mp3 disc just a normal listen on anything disc [:)]

The disc that comes out doesn't give any sound at all but plays as normal (if that makes any sense) oh I have turned the sound right up just in case [:D].

Try converting to WAV FILE mate. You need a CD player capable of playing an MP3 audio cd

well thats probably why it wont work. music files are NOT mpeg thats video files you have there.
are you sure you dont have music videos instead of songs??

you should be able to tell by the size of the file

download vlc player and open one of the files in that if it just plays music and not a video im confused as mpeg is a video not a music format

They are average 8mb in size.

I tried playing them in a divx player bet they came up as audio files.

I converted them to mp3 then to wav so hopefully they will now work.

They do [:D][:D]

Cheers peeps.
