I live in Fenny Stratford, and fish a few venues in the area such as mount farm and a few canal stretches, but to be honest i'm happier when catching loads of carp at bagging venues. what do you reckon are the best local venues then? ive tried Alders a few times and had some good days there.

Matt,

Two mile Ash for me.

Fish a lot of waters around Mk but Alders is good for practising if you can tolerate the owner.Normally travel out to Rolfs,Drayton,Clattercote and Stockton for my carp fishing.Furzton lake is a cracking venues with a bit of wind on it as is Lodge lake.Try not to fish canals too much but occasionally have to as I fish for the coke team with the rest of the lads.

I agree keith, theres nothing better than bagging at drayton, clattercote etc, haven't been down clattercote for about a month now. do you know if the water level has started to rise yet with all the rain we've been having or is it still extremely low[:D]

Spoke to the bailiff at Boddington on Sunday and he said the level at Clattercote was about threequarters the way up the platform legs now and rising slowly.
