Brooklands Farm, Alderton, Glos

Hello,
I will be staying here next week and I understand that they have two lakes available to fish. I wondered if anyone has fished these lakes before and can give me some idea of what to expect?
They have some strict bait rules and you are only allowed to fish using sweetcorn, bread or luncheon meat.

Any advise would be of great help also any other good spots nearby that I might try.
