Please could someone tell me the name of the current british match fishing champion because my dad met him today and has forgot his name!!! He says its something like roscoe? It would be very embarrasing to not know wgho he is if I meet him!!! Thanks

I suppose the 2 biggest and most prestigious matches to win held annually in the UK are the Embassy Division 1 National Championships and the winner takes all Fishomania.

And I am the current Individual World Club Champion [] At least until June 2003 when the next competition is held.

BTW, IMHO the best match angler in the UK, and the world is triple (on the trot!) World Champion Alan Scotthorne who I have the a lot of respect for.

He is a sound bloke and the dogs danglies!

That is correct BUT Alan is probably up to 20 years younger than Nuddy and so will representing England on an international level for a lot of years to come. The subject was CURRENT best British angler.

I'm sure Nuddy will be doing very well on the open/team match scene in your area Just like Dennis White does in my region.

I have to say, Bob Nudd is the best match angler the UK has ever had but IMHO definately not the CURRENT best British match angler.
