Had an hour after work yesterday and managed 3 chub on banded bread and likky bread in a feeder.
This morning was colder and the water clearer. Gave my Drennan IM9 Finnesse an outing and fished a bolo float with bread punch over a punch crumb/likky bread/hemp mix. Had roach and chublets from the off. Swapped to the feeder and used the old Drennan flake punch. This gave a very nice chub. Only out for 3 hrs. Feet frozen solid. Got to get some thermal boots.

Very jealous, haven't fished the Avon for 25 years but used to live on it as a kid and have some awesome memories. Which stretch is that, I want to say the Crane but could be any number of places.
