Hello all

im new to the forum and this is my second post

i have a question regarding catching some breem

this fish to me is a bit special and would love to be able to do a little better at attempting to catch a larger one

my pb is 3lb at burton lakes and only my third catch of breem

any ideas on best rigs , baits for them
my 3lb was on a shakespeare rod with a little reel and 6lb line
and methord is feeder fishing

any sugestions would be very helpfull

The best bream I ever caught was an eight pounder. It was and absolute lump of a fish. I used a polaris float, fish quiet far out over a bed of decent ground bait on double maggot. Can't say this will work but it did for me!

i usually fish the pole when i catch bream usually get them over a bed of corn double maggot on hook or double corn and a few inches over depth for some reason i find if they can feel the weight of the float ect they wont touch it

plenty of chopped worm & caster usually works well for bream [:T][8D]

will give it a go see how i get on

so far i have had a lot of fun on sweetcorn , as trying to get past the perch and in some lakes there are too many little perch with worm maggotts but will take that info to burton lakes i dont think there is many perch in there

I thought I ought to tell you that you can buy those blow-up Bream at any good tackle shop. They're alright for a photo-shot but don't put up much of a fight, and they don't weigh anywhere near the real thing. []

im from just out side of sleaford and we mainly fish at lockies pit but also enjoy burton lakes and priory lakes rusko

im zoe blake and we are in heckington but didnt wanna say straight away

we often at daves peg lol but to be honest there is some half decent stuff for beginers in boyes at the min

maybe not for those who and experianced but for little fish like me its good stuff lol

small world.....my misses is in helpringham, know alot of people in heckington and my family are from there....
