Reading the 'Two pike in a lake' thread prompted my question which I have pondered for years. I do not use a keepnet so my catch (if any) is returned one fish at a time, which begs the question, when you catch a bream from what could be 40-50 yards out, do they go straight back to the shoal or wander aimlessly until they bump into their mates?

I've caught the same fish twice in a session on a number of occasions, so personally I wouldn't worry about it.

Don’t know about Bream, but Carp definitely do.....one match at Rolf’s where any fish over 8lbs needed to be weighed and returned straight away, I had the same 12lb Common in 4 put ins!

That’s fish gave me 48lbs in the space of about 20 minutes, plus I lost him twice so he could have been worth 72lbs! :ROFLMAO:

If I put a mousetrap in the cookie jar......snap, snap, snap, snap all day long in our house lol. Living things can resist all, but temptation!
