That's the advert I saw earlier as well - it's a good price with the tray and wheel kit included, if you need a tray and wheel kit that is :)

1 point Alu Side tray L
Foam pole support balling arms
7 slot Deluxe pole support
Trolley kit with puncture proof wheels..... are all extras added to the box within the advert
Do i have to pay extra for thise balling arms e.c.t , dont need wheel kit lol

Is this the dealer: Rive ST8 2.0 Seatbox Black/black 118007 ?

If so the advert reads as though they're included in the price

Bordon's seem to be a main Rive stockist so it might be best asking them if you can jiggle the package around to include extra trays instead of the accessories in the package - you can but ask ;)

Another point to consider here when looking at the ST is the frame height.

I’m not sure if the newer RS version is the same frame height as the old RX, but the ST and RX were different frame heights which goes back to the other recent thread about measurements between footplate and seat height.

My first Rive was an RX and to be honest I struggled with it because for me to fish the long pole with any degree of comfort with the tray / draw configuration that I wanted meant that I had to raise my heels off the footplate, putting all the weight on the ball of my feet to get a 90 degree angle in my legs.

I then later bought an ST and by using the exact same draw configuration as i did with the RX gave me the perfect 90 degree angle and fishing the long pole was once again comfortable.

Obviously these observations are based on the old ST and RX frames, so the newer boxes might be completely different.

Just to be a tackle tart, I’ve gone old school with a Brilo now with a fully adjustable footplate and not a fleck of orange on it anywhere! :ROFLMAO:
Thank you

The thing to do is measure your existing box seat top to platform if you're comfortable with that, and see how it compares to the stock ST8, then work out what you'll need to bump it up.

Or just measure from your heel/floor to the top of your calf muscle with your boots on as a rough idea ;)

Your about the same height as me then. I have 51cm from footplate to top of the seat. So you will need extra trays. I bought a Frenzee drawer( which is the same fitting section from Bobco. It’s a 60mm side drawer with a 30mm winder tray on top

Thank you
Just looked at the photos. The one where the box is set up with the tray and Guru pole sock is how the box came , with a 30mm side drawer and a 60mm front drawer. I have added 90mm to this with the 60mm side drawer and 30mm winder tray from Frenzee.
