I know theres a good few on here who like me enjoy feeder fishing along with bomb and pellet / bomb and bread etc . I'm sure many of you already know about it but a quick heads up for any that don't . Jamie Hughes and Rob Hughes have just released the latest in the matrix submerged series . Theres some real eye opening questions answered including the speed of pellets sinking . Where pellets catapulted are landing as opposed to where you think they are landing when sat on your box . How popped up bread behaves etc etc . As a for example 4mm pellets sink faster than 6 which in turn sink faster than 8 which surprised me although I'm sure those who paid attention at school in physics will be aware of water displacement and size of object etc.
In any case here is the video its well worth a watch

Really interesting.

Great to see the mind of a top match angler going into overdrive after a bit of prodding from a decent specialist angler. There is so much accumulated knowledge out there; we just need to get better at sharing it between the different disciplines.

One of the possible reasons his loosefeed is missing the lead is, if he feeds on the spot his lead lands you have to take into consideration the fact he's hit the clip, so the lead will fall through the water on a tight line and will drop towards him in an arc... therefore his loosefeed will be off his spot

That's why you should always look past your feed and short , probably teaching my Grandma to suck eggs but I 've seen blokes who can't cast in the same place twice and their picking Fish up all over the place
