Help with Bluetooth connection between iPad Air 2 and Moto G7.

How do I connect the two devices via Bluetooth?

I am not a techi so layman’s language is required.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Buck.

Usually go into setting , Bluetooth (turn on) search devices and it should show. Worth a google in case there’s a non connection between the two like a software block that won’t allow them to connect.

iPad’s are a bit weird with Bluetooth. They’ll connect to other apple devices but tend to ignore anything that isn’t apple. All other Bluetooth devices seem to be quite happy talking to any other device, but iPads, etc, emulate that miserable sod who sits on the stairs cuddling a can of special brew and ignoring everybody else at the Christmas party! Just my personal experience, your mileage etc...

Within the Bluetooth Settings menu there should be a "Search for nearby devices" option. Chose that option on both devices and they should connect, or not if one is an Apple device it seems.

I always seem to fail when trying to get two devices to connect.

Don't use Apple products but if the other device is android, make sure it is set to 'visible' in Bluetooth settings.

Apple products done tend to play very well with non apple products. Depends what you are wanting to do with the Bluetooth as there are other ways to achieve things.

Apple is a joke,
They don't connect to non apple devices,
If you plug a third party cable in they dont like it,
People are fools to keep buying it, overpriced rubbish.

Have you ever owned a Macbook, UK? If so what problems did you have with it?

Yes, for 3 weeks. I couldn't get it to recognise my wife's or my own Android phones, and wouldn't find a connection over bluetooth devices. It also failed to recognise my video camera where as the Windows lappy pick it up instantly. I couldn't even connect the 2 laptops to make a network connection. I got rid of the infernal piece of rubbish.

Was it an iPad uk, or a Macbook? I've just tried all those problems on my Macbbok Pro with 100% success. You should have got an iPhone and an Apple video camera.

Seems we have touched a nerve,
People are entitled to an opinion,
Myself and uk don't like apple,
Does it really matter?
