I've not fished it myself for over 12months mate, but know a few locals that fish it quite a lot.
So i can find out about the place mate.
If you have not been before mate,This is what it says on a venue leaflet.
Peninsula lake.
A 12 ft deep waterof 8 acres that is stocked predominantly with carp,roach,rudd and barbel of managable of catch size, and which accommodates 65 pegs.
A causeway which juts out into the lake as 10 pegs on each side which is considered ideal for small club matches.
Carp range from ozs to 9lbs,tench of 4lb have been caught as have roach and rudd of 1lb 8oz and fast growing barbel of 1lb 8oz.

Hi Gurder,
We fished a match there a few weeks ago and fished the lake you are fishing, there were 15 of us and everyone caught fish (208lbs). I won the match with 48lbs of small Carp using a waggler just off the bottom using 3 maggots on a size 14 hook and feeding a small ball of ground bait every now and then. If you use a pole just keep firing a few maggot or casters at it and the fish will come. The Carp were sporning when we went but are feeding better now apparently. Saw plenty of fish on the top so that might be worth a try now it's a bit warmer. I drew peg 29 [
