We fished a match there a few weeks ago and fished the lake you are fishing, there were 15 of us and everyone caught fish (208lbs). I won the match with 48lbs of small Carp using a waggler just off the bottom using 3 maggots on a size 14 hook and feeding a small ball of ground bait every now and then. If you use a pole just keep firing a few maggot or casters at it and the fish will come. The Carp were sporning when we went but are feeding better now apparently. Saw plenty of fish on the top so that might be worth a try now it's a bit warmer. I drew peg 29 .
So I should get set for some pastie bashing on the pole!!! Good Fun
Nice to know other methods work though coz a couple of the guy's ain't got poles.
I will take note of who get's that peg cheers Mark.
I know it'z for charity but a match is still a match!!
