I have been tasked by one of my work mates to find out the name (or place ) of a war memorial, or at least she thinks its a war memorial, apparently it may be in France/Germany or indeed knowing her any where in the world[:D], it is supposed to be of a very large size made up of blocks of concrete or stone that people can walk in/out or through, I thought at first it was Tennenberg (not a memorial but a building) but this place does not exist any more, She saw this place on one of the music channels with the group called fallout boy visiting, if any of you guys have a clue please help

Cheers

I dont think its that one Muskie, I Think she said it is surrounded by buildings, could be in the center of a town/village or even city[?], she is driving me mad, needle and haystack comes to mind[:(], I think the only way I can find this is if I come across it by accident, I am just hoping these few clues I have put down may ring a bell with someone on MD, maybe one of you watched the music channel that the fallout boys were on and remember where they were hopefully

Thanks for all the links, Also to Pelly on the last post, I have just looked up my Grandfathers name, I knew that he was killed on HMS stonehenge (SUB) in the malacca straite but did not know his name was on a navel memorial in Portsmouth, I have most of his paperwork and medals and now I have printed this off I can go and see this memorial the next time I go to Portsmouth,

Many thanks
