I have the tricast excellence to 9m. This comes with a flick tip and elastic tops. It will take a no.10 lacky but l use green 8-10 matrix slik and use it as a light pole on still waters.

roughly the same floats as I use for the pole david with a couple of exceptions

being as they are floats that I know how they behave in use

NG slim gimps up to 1.5 grammes, glass stems

NG Finesse up to a gramme, glass stems

Hillbilly gazzunders for shallow up in the water

some long bodied foriegn pole floats that the name escapes me now

drake crow quill whip wags

still water blue wags

By the way you can't sink your line with a pole float but you can with a waggler or you can leave it on the surface if fishing a still water.
