Does anyone know what baits to use for ROACH in a small, murky river about 6-7 feet deep

i would have a go at using casters,sqats or maggot myself but i might be wrong ....... anybody else with advice ?

try a bread punch and casters or maggots m8...haydn

Casters and hemp works on the rivers round by me and produces a good stamp of fish.
P.S it drags the odd bonus Chub in as well.

you could try adding a spoon of curry powder to your maggots and also when you put your ground bait in throw it a foot or two to the side of your line but throw it at the flow so when it hits bottom its nearer to your line.
