Bait - what makes you pick your bait?

I was having a discussion with a friend about fishing baits, mainly fishing pellets and boilies really...... He said that he will only buy the top name baits and doesn't like to buy smaller unbranded or lesser known bait companies baits.

I told him that most bait comes from the same place anyway and is just packaged/branded differently.

Do you tend to buy top name baits or are you not fussed who makes it?

depends on reviews and whats been reccomended.
if i have never tried of a bait but been told its alright i might buy half a kilo or so just to try it out.

top brand baits generally means quality bait that has been proved to work, such as got pellets, ringers or swim stim gbaits.
