those who caught some Ide at elphicks on sat for the fishing race will be disapionted at this news
The ide were in actual fact Blue Orfe
i was thinking about them on the way home so decided to clarify for myself after checking there is no ide stocked but there is blue orfe
So there can be no Question on it

Even if Ide were never stocked there, couldn't they have gotten in some other way? Are blue orfe really that similar to Ide then, Martin?

when they are smallish it is easy to mistake ide, blue orfe & even somtimes a roach especaly in still waters as even roach can take on a pale even whiteish in appearance.
i am not into stillwater fishing that much so dont get the chance to see a lot of ide or blue orfe, & i orrigionaly though they were ide but something just kept niggling in my head (SHUT UP N0RM) so when i got home i just checked up & found that they were blue orfe.
it would be very high odds for ide to get in on there own esp in the numbers that sseemed to be in there i had at least 6 of the blue orfe but didnt realise what they where
