ive had so much bad luck recently its got me on the verge of giving up.
i managed to crunch both of my top two's
snap my clasic float rod
break 2 eyes on my feeder rod
break an eye on my match rod
break my seatbox loose a mudfoot lose a footplate leg and snap the small piece of metal holding the plate to the leg
my brother stole my other match rod without me know for his own uses and broke it
my okuma reel broke and now is completely useless
my mitchell reel has gone unusually stiff
i dropped my pole roller into the river at around 10 foot of water.... worste year fishing of my life! :'(

i dont think anybody should be fishing withing 500 miles of me of risk of them catching my gear breaking disease
also the bad is outweighing the good... everybody loses a bit of gear each season... ive lost my whole set up

Yesterday I went and picked up a no.4 section that's been on order for quite a while with Billy Clarke's in Sheffield.
Great!! I thought....it's 80....never mind at least it's arrived.
Tried it with the pole and a top kit, perfect, paid and drove home.
Got home, it's broken!!!
Looks like a tray of tools in the back has slid across and.....b@stard!!!!!
It is now in a package with some other broken bits about to go to Esselle Pole Repairs!
This could be a very expensive no.4 section. [:C]
