I'd just like to say a big thankyou to all of you who helped contribute to the success that it was. Thankyou

We have calculated that we have raised in excess of 5,000.00 from the event for Macmillan Cancer Relief. The exact figure will be known once all the sponsor monies are received and everything is tallied up which should be roughly in a week's time.

I stayed back and had a chat with Stan and he has insisted that we do it again next year as he was so impressed with everyone who attended and also the help from those that couldn't and he enjoyed every minute of the weekend. He was also overjoyed that his fishery was left "As clean as a new pin" and any worries that he did have were completely "done away with" - Please give yourselves a big pat on your backs.

I'm off for a long awaited bath now and I have the Raffle results to put up for tomorrow, before starting work at 6.00am, so I'll post more later. Thanks everyone as you were a credit to the site thumbsup.gif

Regards, Dave

Dad

As Scoobs said its you who deserves the pat on the back, you have done the site proud never mind anyone else.

As you know "me ol mucka" stoney "the charity fun raising king" rang me to see how things were going so that shows just how much interest there was in the fish-in.

Taking into account that this is the first one (of many i hope) the amount raised is incredible.

Put me down for next year dad.

Scoobs

S,funny you should say that cos i've got a few pics of my own!!

I can only say ditto to Troggs first statement. Well done dave.

I will be there next year too.

As to Scoobs dodgy photographs, I thought alan had one of him with a bit of his body stuck in a carps mouth. This is how rumours start isn't it.

It was great to meet a lot of you again, and also a few new faces.
See you in Wales.
