It's nice to know that I can legitimately say that I have an athletic physique. The fact that it is similar to that of a female shot putter is immaterial.

Imagine chatting one up in the pub
“I’m an athlete” she said
“Barman I’ll have what’s she’s having, no ice”

The nearest I've been to an athlete was a touch of athletes foot once :D

Fair do's, the women in the shot putt looked undeniably female.
I remember, in the 1960's, the Russian sisters Irene and Tamara Press. You wouldn't want to meet either in a dark alley.

I've always found British athletic success very touching. Ever since Anne Packer won the 800 metres in the 1964 Olympics. I've mentioned that on here before.
It's the only sport that brings a tear to my eye.

I admit that some lady heptathletes and pole vaulters are very easy on the eye.
Congratulations to KJT and DAS.
