Yes I have last year.
The island is a good 20-25 metres in places.
Nearer on one-side of the bank than the other.
The cafe side is further away from the island (in general) than
the opposite side.
Some pegs don't have the island to chuck to, just some trees sticking out of the water, or even no features at all.
These pegs with no features produce in the summer don't know about the winter though.
Fish go very big in Arles, but probably average around the five pound mark (some go 20lb +).
The carp like corn and meat. Should try traditional winter baits first though like maggot, pinkie, caster, small worm, etc.
