16 Anglers arrived in the carpark at 8am with the temperature just creeping above 0C to fish this 1st round match, and with a water temperature of just over 4C things were looking decidedly dicey.
Bright blue skies and a gentle breeze however lasted all day and the fish decided to co-operate for most at various points throughout the match, with Feeder,Waggler and Pole all producing.
Harleylands once again proved what a cracking fishery it can be with a total of 235lbs 6ozs weighed in,which is an average weight if just over 14lbs per man.Given the conditions a very good return.
The winners on the day were Medway Tackle Blue with a creditable performance, winning by 14pts to 10pts.
