2 landing nets Tony It's Oak Lake at Alders Farm and Oak is the specimen lake. The carp go up to 40lbs so you wouldn't want to hook a lump and not be able to get it in your normal match net. Needless to say Dave didn't need it.

Haha , that was taken on the JJL Match at Alders Farm Fishery in 2019 - I came third on the lake if I remember, beating some proper names - Darren Cox, Andy Kinder, Trevor Price, to name a few

It was hooked fairly in the mouth but decided it didn't want to go in the landing net just as Peter had zoomed in for the shot from the far bank.
On the second net handle was a 60cm CFS net 'just in case'

As for today, a brilliant time was had by myself and @MunchMyStump - we'd nabbed a couple of pegs at None go Bye Farm's middle lake which is predominantly silver fish, Mr Munch was on rod and float, I was originally going to use the same, or feeder, but opted for a workout on the pole instead.

Steady and very enjoyable day, maggot and marble sized balls of groundbait for many Roach from 1oz to around 8/10oz, several Trout up to 2lb and just to keep the Chef happy, I even caught a nice little Mirror Carp
