How many people would be interested in attending a good old fashioned 'Fish in' at Alders Farm Fishery one long weekend in 2018?

Alders Farm has two match lakes, one specimen lake, several smaller ponds and can cater for just about everyones taste Stillwater wise

A bit about the fishery:
Alders Farm Fishery

Set in a picturesque valley in the village of Great Brickhill, a ten minute drive from Milton Keynes, Alders Farm Fishery offers a great day of sport to the Match, Specimen and Pleasure Angler alike.

The spring fed lakes cover a total of twelve and a half acres and offers a full variety of sport. As a direct result of the mineral-rich spring feeds, the venue has built a reputation of producing bumper fish to 30lb plus and bulging match weights of around 200lb even in the depths of winter.

Cost would be the cost of day tickets (tbc), plus a small charge towards a BBQ evening to cover food,

Date wise at the moment I'm open to suggestions.
We could even tie it in with the Maggotdrowning Pairs Championships over the last weekend in July, or invade the fishery on another weekend, what do you think?

Let me know below if you are interested and if so roughly when....

Far to far away , I've just spent the last 4 years taking and bringing my boy home from that area. Any chance of a bit closer for a change

Definately be up for it, preferably separate from the Pairs weekend as I fancy a crack at the specimen lake.[;)]

I might get another of my sons along too.

It would be an idea to post this in the clubhouse - that's where most people look.

I might be interested to put some names to faces... but I'm not much of a match angler.

The man said "a good old fashioned 'Fish in'" not a match meet-up.

(At least that's how I read it)

There's plenty on the venue to cover match, pleasure, specimen, and just good old fashioned wetting a line [:T]

I'll be starting to take names at the end of this week - I wanted to get the new forum up and running first so not to get confused with two lists, etc
