As some of the Alders farm folk will remember, l turned out in a pair of blue mini wellies. Although perfectly functional they are far more suited to the likes of MrsMunch's delicate tootsies rather than my gnarly plates of meat.
With my masculinity in question l decided to remedy this. So taking a perfectly serviceable pair of Aldis neoprene wellies l did a bit of cutting here and there and invented all terrain W@NKLES, ankle length wellies.

W@NKLES when trainers wont do and wellies are too much, W@NKLES all terrain walking fishing drinking boots. Keep out the wet with W@NKLES. You saw them here first folks.

I think you will understand the embarrassment l went through. They didn't look like that on e-bay. However sorted it now with my W@NKLES all terrain walking fishing drinking boots.

Indeed, the blues are rather effeminate in comparison to the manly W@NKLES

I did😁 but they didn't look too bad and blue was the least girly colour. I wanted something to slip on when l needed a pee at 3am because pink imitation crocs aint water/pee proof.

I have a pair of them......when the dog took a liking to my wellies and chewed the top bit I cut them down to just above the ankle.......however unlike your urban black version mine are a more country gent green

thats true but they can be manly; just borrow some of the wife's mascara and get yourself some of these:
