Abrisive hooklengths are very important in snaggy rocky areas where you intend on catching quite a few fish, you must have abrasive main and hooklengths, otherwise you will loose a few too many fish.Mal

If you want a good line that can stand up in snaggy areas, try a line called "Bullet" by Kevin Nash, it's ideal for it. [:)]

Sorry i probably didnt make myself too clear. The hooklengths are for general coarse fishing/match fishing. Dont need anything over 4lb.

MrC,

The only lines i use for Pole Hooklengths (not often) normaly fish straight through and main line are the following:

Trabucco T1
Great in open water but not so abrasion resistant (others will disagree though)[;)][;)]
A review can be found in the Review Forum.

Pro Micron
Good alrounder will take a bit of stick.

Reflow Power Line
Hard as nails and first choice for snaggy swims (but is quite stiff.

Maxima
Only line i'll use at Drayton.

AH you mean abrasion resistant???? I had this weird idea that you wanted an abrasive line to help cut thru weed etc.

chill out go fishing
