Hi all
Hope you are well. Fairly new to this forum but loving it already.

I am visiting A12 cutons match/island lake Saturday for some pleasure fishing. Ive had some advice already, method to the island, the usual baits etc. Heard from another angler it is fishing hard at the moment. Anyone else got any gentle hints and tips for a keen matchman just starting up again trying to prepare for my first match next year hopefully :D

Kind regards
Cam

Its not far from me... the last match our club had there, method feeder did the trick with either hard pellets or wafters of the same size..
Plenty of small carp and skimmers to go after... I think after the drop in temps and the rain I'd go for a small cage feeder loaded with micros and groundbait with either wafters of dead reds on the hook...

Bread may be worth a try. Either on the pole or bomb if it’s gone hard. I know it used to work several years ago.
Take some ear defenders aswell, the traffic noise is really bad ?

And a peg for your nose if Westerly Wind (Sewage farm)!
