Hey All,
I am looking to buy a new printer around 50, any ideas / recomendation?

Yes Dooby,

Save a bit more as you will find that most printers available in that price range will cost you an arm and a leg for cartridges [:)] and give poor results

Daves right on this one.

I got a Xerox from Morgan for about 50 +VAT
a while ago. It came with a full set of carts.

It turned out cheaper to buy another one of
the printers and throw the old one out than
buy new set of carts. [:D]

I used to have one of them cheap Lexmark printers

Went in PC World for new cartridge - 29[:0]

New Lexmark printer - 35 - somebodys getting conned somewhere and I'm sure it ain't the manufacturers

it is true that cartridges cost more than soem printers but if you go into www.viking.co.uk you can get compatable ones for a lot less .we have a lexmark viking also sell printers so have a look.depending on what to use the printer for eg photo printing a little extra cost goes a long way
