Why on earth are ICS inline feeders banned. I would have thought they would be some of the few that were allowed, completely free running and fish safe.Only if they are not banned like they are on our waters.

Here round this little village are 4 fisheries and all have the same rule on feeders and leads...Oh I see. Yes, I don’t use elasticated feeders.
Good fish safe rules if you ask me. People should be a lot more aware of the fish tethering risk of certain setups. Here round this little village are 4 fisheries and all have the same rule on feeders and leads...
All feeders/leads must be inline and free running. Carp leads must also be inline free running with nothing above the feeder/or lead. Paternoster, heli rigs and lead clips are banned. No elasticated feeders.
That's a relief thenIt's the elasticated ones that are banned round here mate.
Stikflote, mate, you bought them because a/ they were shinny. b/ We cannot fuel our fishing kit addiction, without buying something before we leave the tackle shop.I have two Tricast feeder rods a power feeder and a power wand ,
I have two Daiwa feeder rods Ninjas an NJF10Q and a TDF10
one Sonic 10 ft feeder rod a Shakespeare Mustang bomb rod,.
And a Preston Parobolic feeder system which makes up three rods.
Question I'm now asking myself is why do I need so man y feeder rods
when I could possibly just need the Preston rods to do it all.
When I go fishing theses day I just grab nearest ,I've never sat fishing thinking I should have bought a different rod ,
so Why did I buy so many to do same job.

Wives apply rod limits in general.Think of it like golf - you can only carry 14 clubs. You can drive the ball with a putter or put with a driver but not as effectively ! I wonder if there will ever be a rod limit applied..........
