Ben Haim seems determined to hang on and take Portsmouth under.

Clearly he doesn't give a s**t

How can a situation ever be allowed to get as bad as this.

Truth is we dont need portsmouth fc. We have the two big clubs on the south coast (southampton and brighton).

When I was a mere boy, Dad was in the Army and based in Gosport/Portsmouth/Southampton area Pompey was our adopted team.
Saturday afternoon, Pompey at home, we'd be down the Melton end, us lads down at the front. A friendly tanner bet on the correct score.
(Never won, and my betting hasn't got any better :()
It would be a sad day if they should be no more.

Many years ago Fratton Park had 1 of the best turfs in the country

Fatton Park was where I watched my first game of football, it was a tuesday evening Vs Torquay, old div3 I think it was must have been late 70's don't remember the score but have had a soft spot for pompy ever since.
When I first joined the navy instead of going on weekend leave I would stay down there if pompy were at home
