100lb of Carp-Bradshaws No.2

Arrived at Bradshaws this morning at 8.00 a.m. armed to the teeth with carp gear.The aim was to catch a double figure carp.Rig was a bolt rig with a short braid hooklink in a pva bag of pellets.Hookbait was a hair rigged 10mm boilie.
Action was instant and I used two rods but one at a time allowing me to bait up one rod while the other was fishing on the alarm.
Fish caught as follows(all carp were mirrors);
Carp 5.6
Carp 6.2
Carp 5.5
Bream 3.7
carp 5.12
bream 2.8
Carp 8.12
Carp 9.0
carp 7.11
carp 9.4
carp 6.6
bream 1.0
carp 7.5
Ghosty 6.10
carp 8.10
carp 7.4

Packed up around 12.30 as it had started to rain and I was running out of pellets anyway.

All in all a very enjoyable day and a great ego boost.

I think I had my money's worth that day lol [][]
The others anglers on the water thought I was showing off [:I]

I don't there very often and its time for somewhere a bit more challenging now[]

It gets very busy at weekends so get there early (opens at 7.oo).

Hi Suki,

I must point out that I only fish for pleasure .However I have fished No.2 a bit over the past few years and if your pegged in the trees or on the wall side there will be carp very close to the bank.

For a roach a chuck and a chance of Tench and bream fish red maggot.

The place is stuffed with fish so just keep it neat and tidy and you should be able to keep catching for the whole match.
