If its money no object have a look at the new Colmic ones, saw Paul Yates' today at Lindholme and its seriously good. But around 700+ or have a look at the Rive Sport D36 like Mr Ringer and Scotthorne use, they are tops but again around 900+
I have a Milo, 8 drawers, sliding footplate, gel seat etc etc cost me 300 2nd hand.

The best seat box available...

Difficult to say as selection very much subjective. The same as 100 people looking at a peice of art, each will have their own opinion.

There are lots of superb boxes on the market. Check out the new Daiwa 2010 range, look fantastic.

Personally, just sold a Milo Match Modus in favour of Brilo. For my own reasons a better box.

Billy,

Whats your top end price you can go to?

It would be easier to give advice then.

Even if money is no object I would never spend more than 400 for a fully loaded box. You can get boxes with foot plates, side trays and 5 drawers for under 200 so to spend 700 your simply paying for the name on the side. Each to their own of course but i always think your using it for fishing to it'll look scruffy in no time no matter how much you pay.

As has been said it depends on your needs and style of fishing.

I have now settled for a Preston X5 box and a Kiley 5 drawer box.

The Preston is fully loaded and being a wimp, I trolley it to my peg.

If I want a box for roaming, especially on the rivers, then the Kiley is my choice.

The only hassle is swapping the gear about[:D]

Billy, I have recently bought the FOX MSB1 system. I sat on it...and then I was unable to open the draws. I am 6ft 2" and weight 14 stone...not that bad !! but my weight caused the whole chasis to deflect and lock the draws shut.... and thus i was very troubled by this and a few other things...so i have just sold it without using it on the bank and have to say that i do not think that it is worth the cash. I now want to try thr Preston X6S...
