So be well known for my easy peasy quizzes (think Hartleton 2014). Herein lies my challenge for this year:

Ten lines from well known Christmas carols, translated (badly, by me) into literal English. Can you work out what the carols are:

For example:

'Being of a place of agricultural land whilst group is being prostrate'

Is a literal translation of

'In fields as they lay' from 'The First Noel'

So where do the next ten come from?

1. Mafia boss game console at this moment dress in groups homosexual clothing

2. Unable to provide gangster accomodation for sleeping therein

3. Quiet on the ground, well behaved Ferrel goes to males of the species

4. Third rock from the sun, in the past dense as ferrous element

5. Condition of body and mind which typically recurs for several hours every night in celestial quietness

6. Not shallow, made by walkers and not odd

7. After N, measure of power, enjoyable to do the dirty

8. Allow male homosapien to put there music with words to work

9. My group hopes the reader will get drunk this winter festivaltime

10. Soundless celebrities turn bisexual

You mean that well known Christmas carol, Puff the Magic Dragon? The one you sing whilst gathered around the Xmas tree each year? That one?

In that case, then errrrrrr no.
