Pole sections

Just joined on lookout for new pole mid range have a map 525 wind blew it off roller broke no 5 section very thin wall any one know any pole that will take 525 or 501 top kits mate got a diawa xr4 which takes them but pole no longer available thanks

Could you not get the section repaired? Might be cheaper in the short term.

Daiwa sr5 or 4 will fit , but personally I'd get it repaired , some of the repairs I've seen are fantastic and will be as strong as new .
Facebook can be a good place for spares

Yes a pro repair for around thirty sheets a lot cheaper than a new section.

All MAP TKS top kits are interchangeable, so virtually any modern MAP pole.
I think Sensas poles may also be compatible but can’t personally verify this.

My mates Browning takes MAP topkits as does his wifes Maver.

Sensas, map and browning and some maver I believe will accept your map 525 kits

A 525 number five is a very sturdy section, I used to have a 525 and it’s probably one of the stronger poles I’ve used, all poke sections are relatively thin walled, other wise they’d weigh a ton at longer lengths

Think I've got a 525 no5 somewhere in the garage, I'll have a look tomorrow if I find it you can have it foc.
I would still get the repair done.
