Started on some prep last night, which when your last match was Easter and nothing like these venues, as you might imagine, did need to start last night. Got quite excited as I peeled old and perished elastic from the inside of a top two that was last elasticated in 2011 and replaced it! Spooled up new line on the waggler reel etc.

Fitted 2 top kits with new elastic before I went away. Just bait to prepare when I get back; I will re-read the fishery rules first though to make sure I’m compliant... 😬

Yes I have had a scan through mate too and think I have got there. Bring own nets I am thinking? I have two, one that regularly gets filled with about 2lb of bits and the other that is only there if I lose the first net or the mice get it!

I have gleaned so far, bar the usuals:
Fishery pellets only
Lead/Feeder is allowed as it isn't an open
Both lakes are mixed species
Middle of next platform along marks the boundary where its peg one miss one

Anyone know much about the just as important brekky situation?

Take your own nets mate, I’ve got a couple spare if you want to borrow them. Just rock up for breakfast, they’re very well organised 👍

I've got a spare net if anyone wants to use it.

What are we doing for scales and weigh baskets? I've got a set if you want me to bring it

Thanks Ian @Whisker & @Dave I do know they have scales at Lakeview and will do the weighing in. However it won't hurt to have gear available just in case there are other matches finishing at the same time.

Just to make sure everyone has got the rules correct.

We are fishing the MATCH LAKES

13. NO FEEDERS OR STRAIGHT LEADS TO BE USED ON MATCH LAKES

There are always spare keepnets available if anyone forgets theirs.

I've never needed to use a pole any longer than 13mtrs

Didn't someone post that that rule only applies to their matches?
