Have a very good friend's dad die from Bowel Cancer and as it's not one of the more high profile charities I would like the proceeds to go to Bowel Cancer UK

I saw you walking the bank last time, don’t think I saw much in the way of fishing... 😬
No issues with a raffle 👍

Ahh Grasshopper the way of the Spoon takes dedication and 'anti-skill' special powers, a true Ninja master angler, will be able to fish any peg and manage to avoid most of the fish taking the bait.:ghost:

@notneeded not going fishing often enough for a start. :(:( I know mate, I had prepped with Micros & 6 & 8 mm hook bait pellet, which were flavoured, but over damp making them a bit too soft round the edges to use banded and not soft enough to use on the hook. Won't be messing about this time.

I spoke to our secretary yesterday about pegging. There are pegs we don't put in, especially on Lagoon as the pegs out of the sun don't fish.
He recommended 12 pegs on Marina. As it's fishing one sided at the moment section would need to be each side. I will get him to write down the pegging for 22 anglers next week. I want Peg? :p

@dirk Thanks very much mate, that's very much appreciated I want everyone to have a good day and knowing what pegs to avoid putting in the draw bag will really help.

@Northantslad Cheers Chris, well the consensus of opinion is in favour of running a raffle so if everyone can bring something along it would be much appreciated. (y)

I'd lay odds on that I'll pick a bad peg, it's the only thing I'm good at.

Yes, I will be bringing a raffle prize too.
