Has anybody fished Harthill Fishery (by Broxton between Whitchurch and Chester) lately?

Wondering whether it's any good for bream/tench and what the rules are?

I know you cant use keepnets and groundbait through the feeder or pole cup.

Any idea on depths etc?

Im looking for a local venue for long distance feeder fishing, ideally bream.

Thanks
Gareth

I fish it but only every now and again, there are some really nice tench and big roach in the bottom lake, it's only 7ft deep at 16mts

I fished 10mm pellets on a waggler and was catching big Roach 1-2lb last yr, plus bream and plenty and skimmers

I know there is a lot of carp in the newer top pool but I prefare the bottom lake

I've only ever fished the bottom pool by the car park and that was a few years back now.

Ill have to pop up on the weekend and have a look around.

Haven't fished it for a few years but it was always brilliant for bream on the GB feeder. It usually took an hour or two for them to switch onto the feed, but once they did it was good sport.
Picturesque venue as well.
