The concept seems simple enough... is there a right way and a wrong way to do it? I want to keep it as simple and fuss free as I can.

My proposed setup is to fish plumbed to depth, so the hookbait sits on the bed with an offering of freebies around it.

Here's how I do it, using the lift method but you can set up as standard waggler just beef up your gear. I use a 2lb tc barbel rod, 8 or 10lb line direct to a size 10 hook with a boilie hair-rigged and laid 6 inch over depth using a tell-tale shot. If the float dips, it tells me there fish in the swim and if the float rises then it's a bite Just my preferred method and no doubt others will have theirs...
