Croc spotted on Wyrley Essington canal!

[:)] [;)] The only Croc spotted on the Wyrley Essington Canal , Was wozlebeak while he was fishing.

water never rises there vassago.
there are about 15 houses with fishing pegs like that one in front of them.
they were built about 8/9 years ago on a field i used to go detecting on.
i found loads of tokens on the field, and later found out that they used to race pit ponies around it.

just around the corner from this house are a couple of 1960s houses.
they have fantastic fishing possibilities, however no one ever fishes from them.
here they are.

i had a run from a nice pike (pre baited yesterday) nothing on bread punch.
Oh and hypothermia lol.

theres a lot of dog sh!te on the toe path the other side.
wouldnt it be nice to just walk out your back door onto your peg?

[:)] A mate of mine thought the same wozelbeak mate, it lost a lot of the attraction when the canal was frozen solid and the local toe-rags were using it to enter and leave the premises with whatever was not securley fastened down.

Those pics bring back memories, I grew up fishing some of those very pegs. Had some very nice perch on lures from most of the stretch from Yorks bridge back to Brownhills. I take it you live local wozelbeak
