Had a spin of one in a tackle shop last week
Bit cheap and cheerful and the weirdly bulky skeleton rotor feels very plasticky

They don't seem to be a bad reel for the price though and I'd take one over a Drennan Red or Series 7 any day

I quite like the look of it and they aren't going to break the bank but a spare spool would make it more attractive even if if cost a few quid more.

Would only buy a daiwa reel myself. Had a Preston and matrix reel both were terrible. Not used any other brand of reels. So would be wrong of me to comment on something I haven't used.
