...but will it stop you fishing?

At what point do you say "forget it" leave the tackle where it sits and pick up the telly remote, or do something else ?

Cheap trolley/barrow to carry my seatbox...

At the moment, I carry my seatbox with the shoulder strap, but it starts to dig into my shoulder (even with padding) and is uncomfortable and unwieldy over long distance. Was thinking about a simple L-shaped trolley/barrow instead of a full-blown fishing barrow. Maybe something with a collapsible handle like on your travel suitacase. Anyone got any ideas ?

Had a great day yesterday, representing Maggotdrowners in the JJL match...Top class field, top venue, hospitality absolutely brilliant, great to meet, our team, and be part of the day ...Fishing on our lake was Peggy due to the wind, but still a great day, Joff Rogers(venue expert) one side, and the one and only Emma Pickering, the other for company, some big names struggled, in our section, and on our lake in general...For my match, I’ve had 4 carp, 10 bream, and 2 big perch, which has got me 6th in the sec?‍♂️... I should of done better, as I lost 5 carp to snags across the bar on the feeder, and lost 1 shallow, so possibly 5th in section was achievable..basically I’ve beat everyone to my right, but no one to my left?, Nick put me right, as my chopped worm line made all the difference in my half of the section, catching me 10 big skimmers, and 2 big perch, and thanks to Dave for getting me some worm ??No fishing for me now until a week Monday, work, work, work ?? Hi all, just wondered if anyone has fished any of the above lakes. I'm going there in the caravan next week and I'm looking forward to a bit of fishing and according to their website lake 5 holds some big perch. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance, Stu.

Which Feeder Rest ?
Which Feeder Rest ?

Having a little debate with Peter about Feeder Rests and looking at the one I have at the moment, the Preston Fix-Angle, however it has been decided that it doesn't suit the look of my new box and the Guru Reaper Rest has been suggested as a viable replacement....

I do like the look of it, not too sure on their other alternative which to me looks like it belongs in the next century and a bit too gimmicky ....

However, I do like the look of the Matrix Feeder Rest but according to a few searches this is now 'old design' and is being replaced with one with replaceable ends incuding rod stops. which to me suggests that this design does have issues of rods being tugged off the rests when not looking...

The new Matrix Feeder Rest...

Then there is this not so little jobby which looks like it would stop a whale let alone a spirited Carp...

My current Preston Fix-Angle ...

So I'm going to throw it open to your suggestions, which Feeder Rest do you think is best?
