| cpk1979 | Hi, I'm off piking at semer water this weekend and want some advice on some basic rigs. any ideas?? Chris. |
| norm | cpk my fav venue it is not fishing too well at the moment i only had one jack last friday. just a straight forward running link is all that is required. the water is shallow. so will warm up soon. try sprat and mackerel. i had my pb (24lb) on sprat from semer from the grass side not the tree side. at the end of last year it was fishing realy well but a bit slow at the min (is this a practice for the northeast bash) see ya later  it isint the size of the tiddler that counts |
| cpk1979 | Hi, Its was by first piking session and I must say it was a good one.! I caught a pike of 6.5 lbs and my friends dad caught another about the same! ( I have some pictures butI am not sure how to post them) I also got smashed when I was reeling in my bait. maybe just maube I might of found a better sport then carpin! Well untill I got a new PB 13.5lb Mirror in a short 2 hour session last night Chris. |
| peterpike | hii am a new member i have had pike to 31.lb from semer with plentey of 20s its no good when water is cloudy.dead bait roach is best i all so use a bait boat peterpike |
| peterpike | can any body help find pennine reservoir which was in pike predator 2months ago which was poduceing 30.lb pike poss 8 different fish please help ????????????? i have fished semer for 3.4 years for pike and they are the best in the country need to get on to some new 30s photos will follow soon |
