The best food colourings i`ve found are these, http://www.hoohing.com/acatalog/Up_...ing_263.html they work on anything, corn, meat, pellets and also in groundbait. A tiny ammount goes a long way a 1/2 teaspoon will colour 2 tins of corn and dont wear a white shirt whilst using it, it`s a beggar to get out.

You'll actually find that red corn is a sub species of maize and is not coloured. Most people don't know this but the natural colour of Maize/corn is in fact purple and it used to throw up the odd yellow and red seed. The stock was then bred to produce more yellow and red cobs as it was more appealing on the dinner plate. Heres a picture of red & purple maize still on the cob.

Giles.
