Hi guys

I have applied to various universities to do Paramedic Science and one of them has sent me a text message alerting me to an email they have sent me and I have to reply by the 15th March. The problem is for some time I haven't received any email to my account whatsoever, despite having regular subscriptions and email updates from the ambulance service. Nothing at all has come through, even the emails I have been expecting.

Obviously I am in urgent need of help because I need to reply to my email before the university cease my application.

Ring them and ask them to send it to an alternative address until you get it sorted so you do it in time. I rarely use my hotmail now, I use my BT account.

Hotmail has gone haywire, unable to log into my main account nor the one set up for my partner.

Thanks guys.

I have managed to get to the bottom of the problem. Somebody had maliciously changed the settings on my account. They had set the account to automatically send all emails from non-contacts to the junk folder and then set the junk folder to automatically delete all junk mail! I'm furious!

Thanks for your help.

PS. I have written an email to the university explaining that I haven't received the email and I have requested that they resend it. I will ring them to confirm tomorrow if they haven't contacted me.

hotmail accounts are very often not accepted by reciepients,it not liked
at all

Hotmail is pants... quit using it as my main address years ago (except for logging into MSN / Windows Live messenger)...... Googlemail + Yahoo Mail beats it hands down (e.g. with Hotmail you can only set-up automatic forwards to other hotmail accounts, with Google + Yahoo you can set-up automatic forwards to any e-mail address).
