Second that great gear. Got the big holdall late last season and just treated myself to the match carryall, which is huuuuuge!

Top quality and will last me the rest of my days!

Nice colours as well

just for info , the new rod holdalls are longer so long section poles such as gmax1000 etc will fit , also rod holders to suit are also longer so longer section rods can be set up and stored as well

in other words , the best just got even better

Can anyone tell me if the shell cases supplied with the Kompact 8 will hold 2 12ft 2 piece rods with reels attached in each case. Shallowman says the latest ones are longer but the Mosella website says the shell cases only take up to 11ft 2 piece rods.

I. have just got the kompact 8 holdall and kompact carryall with the bags inside for my Christmas present , pleased with them quality gear , but one thing I didn't. consider is if it would fit in the car, because it's longer and bulkier it is a tight fit and protrudes against my arm in the drivers seat, I have not used them yet as they have been shipped to Santa but can't wait to use them

I have the Kompact 8 system and as has already been said it's the dog's danglies, it's the best luggage I've ever had. Just as a guide for car owners, I have a BMW 330 touring and the rod bag sits on the front armrest by a couple of inches

hi shadow I have a Honda civic ,
it best thing to do is to ask if you can try it out if your worried. I should have done in hindsight. but it is the holdall I wanted, and I think the Preston monster is the same length. good luck

Had the first lot of newer style Kompact 4 some years ago, the bottom wore a bit because I slide it down my back steps(I live on a slope) to the back garden, so my fault, found the strap a bit long for my little legs so taped it up. This week one of the two zippers has come off so operating with one.
This is not a complaint as I use and abuse the thing so much. The kit has been the best I have had and will replace it with same.
I did have the ready rod holdall but when I bought Drennans that came with there own I could slot three of those in so got rid of the Mosella ones.
I have asked Vic if there will be any update, he has said no, so I hope they will continue as Mosella are reducing their liabilities but should not affect us here in U.K.
