Hello guys, as some of you know I am a wheelchair user and I get alot of help from other anglers getting my gear too and from my peg. However id like to make the effort too try myself, and I am looking at getting a custom made platform that I can clip onto the back of my chair and pull my gear behind me. I have no idea where to begin, material, number of wheels, manufacturer etc......
Any information or advice would be very much appreciated so I can get the wheels in motion.
Many Thanks
Tex

Texpert, Peter mate, I know where you are coming from, being a wheelchair jockey myself. A lot will depend on the wheelchair and it's frame, what will work with one will not work with another. I attached an Octoplus Mainframe onto the frame of my one wheelchair, it actually built up into a fairly good fishing station, the only drawback was once you had started to put all the attachments on, you had to stay where you were, as you could not move the chair. The same set up was not possible in any way at all with my other chair. Hope you have success but Remember, it's okay trying to be independent,But Around Water SAFETY is PARAMOUNT.

Hi Tex I am a wheelchair user myself but luckily I can stand with two stick's so can transfer etc really easily I use a mobility scooter with a pull behind trolley for my gear. I then sit on a modified carp chair similar to bank boss that I modded myself. So I have a great deal of independence & can get to matches etc on my own. If you would like any info on my trolley etc let me know. Paul
