Glad you enjoyed it Pete. You caught well on the Old Canal, but it was tight for second on the lake, with Gaz Malman beating your travelling companion by one ounce.
You will always get a warm welcome at White Springs, but I live too close to sample the breakfasts.

Thanks Peter.
That was Mark from Fish4Wales, he had a box at the Llanelli Scarlets rugby match in the evening, and had to get away quick. The net is being picked up later in the week.

Dave,
There was no way Maggot Drowners were going to win this match. You can hardly class half of the team as out and out match men. Gaz, Alex and Chin did the site proud, a long drive and two of them in the money, mind you all Gaz was worried about was paying Alex out on a bet he lost.
Many thanks go to them, to Black Hydro for coming down from Reading, and to Jason and Beebs for their journey down from the poor part of Surrey.. Makes you think when a lot of MDs live a lot closer and just couldn't be ar$ed, at least now I know who not to invite if anything is going on.

Just got home after a 3 1/4 hour drive. I enjoyed the day though
Whilst pulling onto the driveway I realised that the Northern Skiprats would still only be half way home Top effort lads
Whoever would have thought you could get a suntan near Swansea, in April
Nice to see Dai up and about, and to see Sonic The GingeHog again

Big thanks to Jason for giving me a lift down yesterday. Also cheers Geoffers for organising it.
Got a bend in my rod for the first time in about 6 months. I may have got battered either side, but still enjoyed it and have got a lovely sunburn to show for my efforts.
Max respect to Gaz, Alex and Chin - not for the 740 mile round trip, but for managing to be in Geoff P's company for more than 24 hours and not killing him. A real achievement.
Also to Danfish for tearing himself away from getting his legover to weigh in a hefty 3oz. Good skills.
Malc gets the "Hello Sailor" award for wearing his girly pink MD's hat with no shame. And turning up an hour late. And being quiet. Sorry, that last bit was bullsh1t.
Finally thanks to everybody who weighed in less than 5lb 8oz because you all make me feel much better about myself today. |

A cracking fishery, shame it didnt fish as well as it can. Well done all the lads who fished and got points for us.
