hi
last time i went with a tin of luncheon meat it got a bit messy, maybe just me arsing about with it too much i dunno. i plan on taking another tin or so next time, cat meat and chickpeas. and anything similar i lay my hands on..... rather than spend time on the pond trying to prepare it all ive got 10 resealable tubs and im gonna chop the meat etc and pack it into containers before i set off. will save time and any meat not used can go in the freezer for the next trip.
anyone else do that or is it a little OCD?

Always put mine through a meat cutter the night before, any left overs go in the freezer until next time. :) |

I always cut my meat the night before and put it in my bait bix/boxes and pop it into the fridge. Same with the corn aswell, usually get that prepared the night before.
Just saves a bit of time and means you don't have to mess about on the bank as much |

| I usually prep stuff beforehand, especially anything that comes in a tin. |

I prep all My baits the night before,
Meat through a cutter, put in a bag with addatives, also do some hookbait of various sizes using a punch, put them all in a bag and blow up the bag, seal it and shove it in the fridge to harden up a tad,
I've found that adding powder addatives such as green lipped mussel and betaine green the night before helps dry up the fat and 98% of the meat sinks,
Pump expanders till they all sink, add addatives if required pop them in a bag and pop that in the fridge as well,
Corn and maggots can be sorted on the day.

Still got a tin of chickpeas as reserve. Should be enough for a night fish :D
