Windows Error has occured in the script of this page do you want to run sripts, on this page, Yes/No. ?. I have clicked on both, makes no difference.
Run all scans and updates and problem still remains.
Crap Cleaner, Spybot, Malwarebytes, Duplicate File Finder, Avg, Auslog Defrag, System Restore, to no avail. ?
My Pc. and Dog are my life, Maisie is fine.

I can recommend Windows 7 Harry. Since moving over from XP my pc's are much faster and easier to keep free from malware. I've downloaded SuperAntispyware free version and run it every week. |

Harry mate Avoid Windows 7 like the plague,IT IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE WORST Operating System ever released. Stick with XP for as long as you possibly can,As 2T's said just run a restore point on an earlier date where you know everything was as it should be,then once you have done that create a new restore point before doing anything else. |

Thanks to all who responded to my PC. Help. request.
The problem is still ongoing at this moment in time due to my printer running dry

When I renew the cartridge hopefully I can print out Daves Instructions and give them a whirl.

| Harry, copy and paste the contents of the page into a new Microsoft Word document, save it and leave it open on your desktop. That way you can close your browser windows and still follow the instructions without needing to print them off |

i like win 7 ,its ok ,i did try windows 8 the other day ,put a preview copy i downloaded from microsoft on a Pc took one look at it and said "No ,Not for Me"
and took it strait off and put windows 7 on instead ,as far as Os's go windows 7 has been the easiest and less troublesome too use ,well once you turn user account control off (that gets very annoying very quickly).windows 8 looks freaky on a non touch screen Pc ,too much foreground noise & tricky too navigate with a mouse . |
I try to be funny... but sometimes I merely look it! Steve |

for a quick fix try resetting explorer to its default settings, from the tools tab
you could also try updating explorer to say explorer 9, then uninstall it so that windows re installs windows 8 for example.
that may solve it.
what version of internet explorer are you using?? |

Have I missed something Groundhog? Not being an expert I thought win7 to be an improvement on xp and Vista. It works well on my machines although I never do any gaming, are you able to expand your view a bit and tell us what to look out for? Cheers
JS mate, XP Is i.m.o. a much better O/S than win7,with XP you can achieve most task's with a couple of clicks of the mouse, where with win 7 it takes several clicks or more to achieve the same thing, plus XP is by far a lot easier to work with, Unfortunately I made the mistake of installing win 7 on my new system,in hind sight I should have had a look at it first on a friends computer, had I have done so I would not have touched win 7 with a 50ft Barge pole. Thank god I kept my old system with XP on. |
