i'm a member of burton mutual and have heard a rumour that we have aquired 2 new river stretches one the mease at clifton campville and the other the trent/mease/tame near alrewas,if there are any members out there in the M.D world can you confirm this.
i asked one of the ballifs at manor park but he had the "gone on holiday look",so i'm none the wiser.
if they've got the trent/mease/tame stretch that is one hell of a good chub area also some damn fine barbel.

Hiya, My initial post but i am posting with a bit of info
Went to mullarkys late this afternoon, the guy serving me is in the mutual, he mainly fishes on the dove he says but he said they had got the new waters
What's more, he said unlike prince albert there's no waiting list :)
Gonna check their site out, he did say the tickets march to march (as his memory served him)
Have Fun

Hiya, Well i got a plan ....
I'll get a joint ticket for me and the fiancee on the BAA (she caught her first ever fish sunday, a bosting 4.5 pound chub :-) ) new year as they run end of dec to start of jan, but soon i might spend the £30 for a late 1/2 price burton mutual ticket so it at least allows me to have a bit of time at their venues
After my son left home 7yrs ago all's he left me was my abu enticer 13ft rod and abu 5000xt freeliner (circa 2002) i think it is, ohh and a toolbox i used to store odds n sods with some floats etc etc in
Will slowly build my "goodies" back up, got an abu 704 as i used to love the closed faces for floating and have the 15ft match mach3 on order, been buying small tackle items to set me off fishing but these new fangled seatboxes are great but dear so one of those i'll get after xmas lol, ohh and luckily the fiancee after just one days fishing fell in love with angling :-) (knew she was a keeper asap i clapped eyes on her)
So will definately be joining especially after the mutual has some of the dove :-) and other waters close by (i'm based in lichfield)
Dang i waffled on, sorry he he
Have Fun
